About Us

The Fredericton Lawn Bowling Club was founded in 1990 and began play in 1991. Some of our members built the club house in 1996 and was in use for the 1997 season. Over the years other improvements were made as a gazebo and sheds were built, lighting installed for evening bowling and lockers installed for the convenience of our members.

Also, over the years the club has purchased many sets of bowls for members to use as well as equipment to facilitate the game of bowls such as jacks, mats, pushers for example.

The Club operates under the auspices of rules and regulations approved by Bowls Canada Boulingrin and is a member of Bowls New Brunswick Boulingrin.  The Fredericton Lawn Bowling Club has a constitution, and the general business of the club is transacted by a Board of Directors.

There are various levels of membership fees which are set out on our Membership page.

Bowling for all levels of skill are offered and social events are a frequent occurrence and always lots of fun. Our season usually runs from the middle of May until the end of September each year.

Located in Wilmot Park on Saunders Street the Fredericton Lawn Bowling Club welcomes newcomers, non-profit groups, organizations and businesses wishing to rent our club for social and or team building exercises and anyone else who wants to enjoy a recreational activity and friendly social interactions.
